The second project was about fundamentals of visual language. The project was to initiate us as students to draw without inhibition. It was all about explorations and pure practice. It was a 2 week long (6 days) project with a number of smaller tasks given to us each day. This

project was divided into two:- 1) visual language 2) daily drawing.

The main objective of the project was:

1. To Understand the elements of visual language.

2. To engage with observation based  drawing.

3. To introduce various way of understanding the drawing tools.

Here are my 5 best images as a slideshow from the project.

- in first image, we were asked to draw textures through pen. So, as you can see i drew several textures using microtip pens and came up with several possibilities.

-in the second, its as same as the first one with the medium is charcoal.

- In the third, medium is changed to ink.

-In the fourth, i made a cloud using several set of circle of different sizes.

I drew this way the cloud , because i find it the best way to represent it as same. If we look into it seriously a cloud is nothing but like several circles brought up together.

- in the fifth one, i drew a representation of fear using rectangles of several shapes and sizes.

DAILY DRAWING:

The major struggles faced by us during this daily drawing were -

- it was difficult at first to keep up with both things but later we learned to manage it.

- it was bit stressful to draw same as the natural object but we are learning that too ;)

New way of learning-

This new way of learning is really effective in enhancing our creativity and taking it to the another level. Though at first, we were all really confused about how will we all manage to work digitally and will we able to understand anything or not. but we are here giving submissions , understanding things at its best and making the use out of it fully. Its all going amazing just because the most amazing and cool faculty we have. they have been supportive and more that understanding.

We are currently using online apps to make submissions rather than making them physically.

These apps have become a part of our daily life now, and they have been really useful in every way.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This project from day 1 to day 6 helps us to explore and explore as much as possible through dots, squares, rectangles, ink, lines, etc. and on the last day that is day 6 we explored textures using several mediums It made us understand that we should never restrict ourselves in any form BECAUSE DESIGN IS BEYOND RESTRICTIONS.

PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT

I was involved in this project was not just because it was necessary but because it gave me a sense of exploration and i very much enjoyed doing so . thanks to josh sir and kishore sir for always motivating us and helping us out whenever necessary. they always had their making us do things in a fun way and making us understand its importance. time to time they were just llike our friends more than teachers. I am really looking forward to do another project with them .
