Ismetry is referred to as a mapping of a metric space onto another or onto itself so that the distance between any two points in the original space is the same as the distance between their images in the second space.
This project , it helps me making geometric shapes like cube, cuboids , 3d alphabets and much more in proper shape and dimensions along with straight lines.
CONNECTING THE DOTS..
1) In this project , addition and subtraction played a major role. This connections were made from the previously done project of f2f (FORM TO FORMATION).
2) In this I found the connection between the two that they both are using the method of cutting from between the form. This is also from the project f2f.
3)There were also many learnings from the projects of fundamentals of visual language 1 & 2) It has not only improved my line quality but also had helped in visualizing things in a better way.
REFLECTION:
this project was totally different from all the projects done so far . It project has helped to improve my line quality also it has helped me to improve my isometric lines. Before I never paid much attention to the quality of the lines but through this project I know.
for me, this project was really interesting.
Even though I got stuck on day 3 in making curves but later with the help of my peers I got to know. At first I wasn't able to make the 3-d alphabets even after multiple tries but now with the help of isometric and the practice I can even make it freehand.
It not only improved my line quality but also helped me to visualize things to another level and be more creative in my own way . for eg; at first I couldn't easily locate cubes and cuboids on grid but now whenever now I see the grid I can visualize it easily.
Overall, this project was a total stress buster and different from various projects.
